The Las Vegas Gladiators sit atop the Eastern Division at 5-4 on the season after their victory over the Georgia Force last night. In what was a very equal and hard fought game, the Gladiators managed to edge out the Georgia Force in the final minutes of the game to go ahead 46-41. With a Gladiators 3 point lead at the half, both teams returned to score an equal 14 points in the 3rd quarter. The Force then scored their final touchdown in the final minutes of the game, putting them in the lead by 4 points.

Then with less than 90 seconds left in the game, Gladiators quarterback Jay McDonagh ran the ball in for what seemed to be the winning touchdown. However, a penalty against the Gladiators would deny them of those points. But the Gladaitors weren't finished yet. Wide Reciever Sedrick Robinson was given the ball with less than 60 seconds remaining in the game, avoiding two Force defensemen and diving into the endzone to score the final touchdown for the Gladiators.

The Force weren't through yet, though. With 50 seconds remaining in the game, they started a quick charge towards the endzone, successfully moving the ball down the field. They were gaining yards with each play, and with just seconds left on the clock were nearing the endzone. That is, until Gladiators defensive back Jeroid Johnson intercepted a pass intended for the Force's Tyronne Jones.
